Many congratulations to our Director of Westway Open Arms, Rev Sam Taylor, who has been appointed Diocesan Director of Ordinands and Vocations Adviser in the Diocese of York. Sadly for us, this means she will be leaving Holy Nativity Church and Westway Open Arms at the end of July.
We are so grateful to Sam, for her dedication, hard work, vision and support, in both establishing WOA and continuing to lead and guide over the past 15 years.
She says “This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. I honestly can’t imagine not being in Eastfield. It’s been the most amazing and fulfilling season of ministry- 15 years at Westway, 8 and a half as Vicar. I started here single and we leave here as a family of four what a journey we’ve shared!”
Westway Open Arms wishes Sam, and her family, all the very best as she moves on to new adventures.
