Our New Garden at WOA
Our fantastic team of volunteers, with the help of local funders – to whom we owe so much gratitude – have recently given our outside area a makeover! The garden is available for anyone who wishes to use it, or just sit in it. The gardening club are making great use of the raised vegetable beds and our children’s groups are enjoying using the outdoor area to play in, especially the children’s corner.

SENSES Summer Dates
SENSES, our group for children with additional needs and their parent carers, will be running two Summer playscheme sessions at Westway this Summer. On Tuesday 28th July from 10:00 – 12:00, we will have a regular session, where siblings will also be welcome. Our Eastfield Family Fun Day will take place on Tuesday 4th August from 10:00 – 13:00. Westway Warblers Summer Sessions
Westway Warblers – a FREE community singing group for all – meet on Tuesdays at Holy Nativity Church between 4-5pm. Whether you have sung in choirs before, or for the last time at school, or only in the shower! All are welcome. Blokes B’Lighted Men’s Group
June’s Blokes B’Lighted group will be cancelled this month, due to the ukulele concert on June 12th, featuring the Westway Warblers. The purpose of the “Blokes ‘B’Lighted” Men’s Social Club is to provide a space for men to connect, socialize, and build community. It’s focused on fostering friendships and support networks. Holy Nativity Church and Westway Open Arms will once again welcome Thornton Le Dale Ukuleles for the evening, with a performance from the fabulous Westway Warblers! Bereavement Group – change of date.
Our next meeting will be at Westway Open Arms on Friday, 10th April, 2026. Grief can feel incredibly isolating – but you don’t have to go through it alone.
